Bio
I have over 8 years experience within the financial services, including 3 years within banks and 2 years within Fintechs, including Greensill Capital.
In my current role, I work as a Debt Capital Markets Manager, raising billions against mortgage assets, attending global conferences, working with rating agencies, arranging banks, investors and internal shareholders. I specifically assist mortgage companies in raising finance against huge portfolios of thousands of loans, via structured mortgage backed securities (MBS), forward flow facilities, and warehouse securitisations. My job requires understanding the market, the product, the data, the finance, and selling it all to both the Board of Directors and the external investment banks, hedge funds & investors who are financing the portfolio.
With my background as it is, I'm perfectly suited to mentor and coach individuals looking to move up or laterally into investment banking, finance, M&A, Venture Capital/VC, Private Equity/PE and in general.
I have mentored numerous individuals in a variety of capacities, from providing general advice to specific advise about how to deal with specific professional situations.
Finally, I have previous experience dealing with deals from $50k to $4bn for a variety of clients and products, from mortgages and investment portfolio loans to working capital credit lines and structured debt finance. My previous work within a Fintech company involved setting up companies abroad, in China and India, whilst in Covid lockdown.
